SDBS is a versatile anionic surfactant for household and industrial cleaning sectors. It is the primary active component in laundry powders, dishwashing detergents and all-purpose cleaners, offering powerful removal of oily and particulate soil. It also serves as an emulsifier, wetting agent and dispersant in textile pretreatment, pesticide emulsions, coating formulations and industrial degreasing agents.
In mineral flotation, it acts as a collecting agent. It can be compounded with nonionic surfactants and builders to boost cleaning efficiency, and fits well with most common raw materials used in surfactant formulations.
